Explore the breathtaking splendor of beautiful Southern France, roaming through the majesticProvence countryside of vineyards, olive groves and ancient stone farmhouses. Visit historic hill villages and meander through local provencal outdoor markets. Each day we'll feed our creative souls with drawing and watercolor painting instruction and demonstrations with renowned Southern California artist Eva Margueriette.

Have you always wanted to try painting? If so, this is the perfect time and place to begin. Beginning artists are encouraged to join us, as are non-artists, friends and spouses. Whether you are a new or seasoned painter, Eva will guide you individually in capturing the landscape en plein air in your own unique style. You will take home a painted journal filled with treasured memories of your creative adventure.

We’ll be staying six-nights in the lovely village of Villeneuve lez Avignon located on the Rhone River across from Avignon. We’ll take day trips to small Provence villages in the Luberon Valley where we'll paint and explore local life. Villages we'll visit include Gordes, Bonnieux, Saint Remy de Provenceand Pernes les Fontaines, recognized as Les Plus Beaux Detours de France village, one of the 100 most beautiful villages in France. We'll spend an afternoon in charming Isle-sur-Sorgue, next to the Sorgue River, with more than 300 antique shops.

We'll visit and paint in Provence's two grand UNESCO World Heritage Site cities, Avignon and Arles. We'll take a day trip to Cote du Rhone's most celebrated wine village, Chateauneuf du Pape, for a day of painting and wine tasting. Plus we'll have a French Provencal cooking class and dinner with a local chef.
