Eva Margueriette, N.W.S. has a degree in Fine Art from Chouinard Art School,
California Institute of the Arts. A Signature Member and board member of the
National Watercolor Society, Eva is also affiliated with Women Painters West,
the California Art Club, and the American Portrait Society. Juried exhibits
include: Watercolor West, The American Watercolor Society in New York, and
The San Bernardino Museum.
Her paintings in watercolor and oil are represented in hundreds of private and corporate collections. She has won Best of Show and Best Portrait in Pasadena's all-city juried competition and has been awarded numerous commissions including: the Jonathan Club Los Angeles; Elsa Chamberlain of Laguna Beach; Scott Bice, Dean of the Law School, University of Southern California; Dr. French Anderson, represented in the art collection of the Tulsa, Oklahoma Museum, in honor of his scientific research. "My goal is to create a beautiful and personal work of art. I strive to capture a person's likeness as well as their inner spirit. A portrait preserves a precious and irretrievable moment in time."
